Here’s some good news for candidates who have appeared for the common University entrance test exam. The CUET Result 2024 will be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 30th through online mode
The exam took place from May 15th, 2024 to May 24 2024 through hybrid mode, both online and offline.
With over 13.48 lakh students appearing for this exam, it was conducted across 379 cities of India and 26 foreign cities. If the candidates who have appeared for this exam come under the cut-off marks, they can get a chance to be admitted at any one of the 249 universities across India.
CUET Exam 2024 Cut-off & Mraks distribution details
Speaking about cut-off marks, CUET doesn’t release any single cut-off for candidates to claim like NEET or JEE main exams, the cut-off marks will vary as per different colleges and universities for which the candidates need to explore by themselves after the official announcement.
This is how the marks will be distributed for the candidates:
- + 5 marks will be rewarded for the correct answer
- -1 mark for the negative answer
- 0 mark for not attending a question
Once, the CUET merit list is announced through the official website, the students have to check out whether their name has appeared in the minimum qualifying marks, if they are not listed in this merit list, they aren’t eligible to participate further.
The passing marks for candidates will vary on the category details, If the candidates have scored marks between 350 and 400 they are likely to be considered as qualified.
The National Testing Agency will also release the official category-wise cut-off marks. Check your stats along with results through their official website on the same date (June 30, 2024)
CUET Result 2024: Simple Steps to Download Your Scorecard
This is how candidates can download their official scorecard:
- Go to the official website of NTA CUET UG official website
- Then select the ‘View CUET 2024 result’ option, on the home page under the latest announcements
- Enter your Registration Details
- Press the ‘Submit’ option
- The scorecards of the candidates will appear
- Download the scorecard and plan your further steps as per the results.
There is no concept of revaluation in CUET result 2024, the scorecard which will be updated on the official website on June 30th will be your final scorecard.
