Indian Navy invites online applications from unmarried male/female candidates under 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry to become permanent commissioned officers in technical and executive branches after completing a four-year B.Tech course at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy. According to the information, there are 40 vacancies in the Indian Navy for the course starting in 2025. The vacancies are temporary, they can be changed depending on the availability of training slots. A maximum of eight vacancies under the scheme are for female candidates.

Navy 10+2 B.Tech Entry 2024 Selection Process
Candidates who wish to enroll in the 4-year B.Tech course to become Permanent Commissioned Officers in the Indian Navy will be selected on the basis of the following selection procedure:
- Applicants will be called for SSB interview on the basis of their JEE Main 2024 exam rank and academic qualification.
- The Services Selection Board conducts the SSB interview to assess the intelligence, suitability and potential of candidates for the Indian Navy.
- For candidates who clear the SSB interview, a merit list will be prepared based on their SSB marks and they will have to undergo a medical examination as per Indian Navy standard.
- Medically fit candidates will have to submit Police Verification and Character Verification for final Cadet entry into Indian Navy.
