West Bengal Utkarsh Bangla Scheme was launched by Hon’ble Chief Minister on 16th February, 2016. Through this project school drop out/unemployed youth of West Bengal will be given technical training of their choice. So that they can be self-reliant with training and lead a healthy life.
Under this scheme, all kinds of skill development activities funded by various Departments/Organizations/Agencies of the State Government are conducted by PBSSD. A stipend of Rs 50 per day is paid to the student under this scheme during the training and a certificate is issued at the end of the training.

Benefits And Features Of Utkarsh Bangla Scheme

Utkarsh Bangla Scheme Eligibility Criteria
If you want to apply for Utkarsh Bangla Scheme you first need to fulfill the Eligibility Criteria of this scheme then you will become an eligible person of this scheme. The Eligibility Criteria you have to fulfill for this scheme are –
- You must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- Applicant must be above 18 years of age.
- The applicant should have completed at least 8th standard.
- One can choose any sector for technical training.
- Kanyashree Women Kanyashree ID is mandatory in one and a half cases.

Utkarsh Bangla Online Application For Pbssd
- First of all go to Utkarsh Bangla official website given below.
- https://www.pbssd.gov.in/
- Then click on Trainee Option.
- Then a new page with Basic Questions will appear in front of you, give the answers of Basic Questions correctly and click on Submit.
- Then click on the Sectors in which you want to train from the list in front of you.
- Active Job Role will appear in front of you, from there select the Active Job Role you like and click on Explore on the right side.
- Then the page of List of Training Center will appear in front of you and select the Training Center of your choice and click on Register Your Self on the right side.
- Then the Trainee Pre-Registration Form will appear in front of you. If you are a Kanyashree woman, enter the Kanyashree ID and click on Submit. If not click on No.
- Then the application form will appear in front of you. All the information you need in the application form like –

- Fill correctly and click on submit.
- If everything is correct, you will be given an Application Number after submission, keep it with you, it will be required to check the status later.
